A Glimpse Of Memory
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, Linux, and Android
We follow the tale of a young boy named Felix as he starts his new life in a distinguished sports based university. It's not long when his mind starts to having random flashing images and soon, he and his new found friends will realize, the past will always have a way to seep into the present.
The game is still in chapter 1 and only 3 out of 4 "dateable" characters revealed. There's no proper estimated time for when the chapter will be done but you can check my twitter at @Felix0vad for any updates.
Feedback is highly appreciated as I'm a beginner writer and an EXTRA beginner coder. Just be polite about it please ToT. If you encounter any bugs immediately give feedback so I can fix it ASAP. Thank you for downloading.

Q: Are all the dateable characters male?
A: Yeah, Felix is gay so it'd be weird to have a female love interest
Q: Is there going to be +18 in future updates?
A: If you're looking for NSFW stuff, there won't be such scenes. Maybe +16 or implied +18 but that's as much as you'll get.
Q: How many routes are there?
A: 4 romantic routes, 1 non romantic route. I'll finish the romantic routes first.
Q: Why do updates take so long?
A: I'm still a university student so my hands are tied up with other things. Add that to the fact I'm a solo dev and things become a lot harder. But I try to squeeze in the time to write, draw and code any time I can.

Also Android is bugged out with the background shaking up and down and letter appearing and dissapearing talking about how the buttons near the charging port are hidden for better immersion or something like that.
That's the android version for you. Also does the background shaking happen way too often? Because it's supposed to do that in some scenes

so the part of Red is just 10/10 even the trauma parts, which leads to: how many does the MC have diifrent kinds of trauma!?
like ik some people do have many, I have (I think?) some, & they are on Repeat which uh isn't cool since you know no one deserves this kind of stuff happening to them (except a few)
the 0.3 Mac version is labeled for windows and linux, and the PC version isn't labeled for anything

this game is very cool to be honest, i liked characters and their personality with hidden backstory, i hope what later there will be alot of new interactions and characters with player!
You can also mark the windows version as compatible with Linux since it works on linux, you just have to run the .sh file.

Awwh, I also know how hard it is, but don't worry, only the first steps are the hardest.
Luckily, when it comes to coding a visual novel, many elements and codes are coming bsck to you, so you can always just copy-paste the previous using it as a pattern. You will learn it in no time.
Ren'Py does have a discord server too, they are pretty friendly. Gonna help you no matter what. :D
I also know some other servers, I could give you an invite whenever you need it.
(I haven't read your vn yet, but I'm sure it's awsome. I prefer to stack up the updates. :D)
OMG YESSSSS. It has such a charm to it. I'm in love with the art style, the writing never fails to make me giggle laugh and have fun. And the decisions actually let you put yourself in the story.

I especially love the way you wrote Felix's relationship with his family. It's so warm and relatable. HIs dad is fantastic. "Good! I can just immediately throw you in the shower then!" made me laugh so hard. I was just a bit sorry that he jumped to school so quickly. I would have been glad to spend more time with Felix's family over the whole drive to his college.
that was the original plan, but it felt too long so I scrapped it.
Down worry, they still appear later on in the story via text and video calls. I made sprites for a reason. ;p

He's a red fox, Hope and Thomas are cats. I tend to make cats not have snouts compared to other animals.

This VN is quite nice, I like it. It has good artstyle and interaction between the main protagonist. It doesn't much typos and weird sentences compared to other newly made VN's before.

Thanks! I'd say around 15% is finished. Exam weeks just finished and I'm trying to make time in between assignments. But it'll probably be finished by either end of October or early November (Again, thanks for reading!)

This VN has quite the good potential! I really like the story so far and the interactions between the characters, It feels very alive, it does have some typos and unnatural sentences, but overall it looks really promising despite being a new Vn. Plus the artstyle is nice aswell. Hoping to see this VN grow!

I'm working on part 2 of the prologue and a few touches on previous dialogue (Rereading some of the dialogue made me cringe). Exams are coming close to an end so production rate will probably speed up then.

Oh! By the way if I may ask, How long will the game have? Like, how many days and etc? And will it have some sort of timeskip to accommodate the dating part so they'll have their feelings thought about to the main protag?
The game goes off a chapter system, so it wouldn't technically be based off days. There will be timeskips (Not everyday is an exciting day).
My main idea is to have around 4-5 chapters per route (Not including prologue and chapter 1)
